Ever wonder what to do if your teen is pulled over for a traffic stop? Do you worry about how he or she will interact with law enforcement? Our Brain Camp half-day event on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Delta Flight museum will feature law enforcement officers and leaders to discuss with teens the best course of action for dealing with law enforcement. Take away the fear and engage with experts on how to make a situation bring about the best outcome, not the worst.
Other topics that will be addressed include sports safety, distracted driving, cyberbullying, and opioid abuse; in addition, a chalk art contest will give middle and high school art teams a chance to win $500 for their school. Interactive and engaging demonstrations on distracted driving and car crash re-enactments are available for your teen and preteen to experience.
