COMING SOON: Training Teens with Ford Mustang Mach E

The SafeAmerica Foundation’s ‘SafeTeen Driving Academy’ is starting a new ‘AAA’ class. Known as the ‘American Advance Auto’ Class, it will feature new E/Vs (electronic vehicles) such as Ford Mustang Mach E.

“We’ve been impressed with Tesla and other E/Vs, but Ford’s Mustang Mach E is incredible,” noted SafeAmerica CEO Len Pagano. “We’re planning to purchase 2-3 Mustang Mach Es and will look to teach teens on the ‘future E/Vs that will be standard.”

Pagano noted that SafeAmerica has worked with Ford nationally over 25 years. And, had a former Ford executive hosting a meeting at Ford Headquarters for the Board of Directors. He adds that Jim Graham – who began Ford’sDriving Skills for Life‘ – also has been a close friend and offered advice to work within Ford dealerships to teach teens. Now, a Ford dealership in Jasper, Georgia has offered to train teens with SafeAmerica.

“We’re proud of Shottenkirk Ford in Jasper and are impressed with its GM, Steve Ferenczy,” Pagano added. We look forward to doing more ‘innovative training with Ford E/Vs and help them see standards that help make driving better.”
