A growing concern is how to make ALL transportation safe. With urban scooters and pedestrians having more injuries, we are assessing:
- How to make ‘Safety Zones’ within our communities
- Putting more information in front of pedestrians, as well as bicyclists and pedestrians while
- Helping drivers assess the best way to travel in front of others – and across railroad tracks
Safety training – and community events such as ‘Brain Camp’ – are planned each year. To involve yourself or your community, contact Chief Will Williford, our ‘Safety Zone’ Chairman, at (404) 557-5220 or Vice President Fred Huff at (404) 435-8166.
