Successful Press Conference on Sept. 27, 2018

Atlanta, GA – over 65 people attended the Safe America Foundation’s news conference at the Georgia State Capitol today… in which the Foundation detailed its plan to roll out the ‘HUMANS Care’ / anti-trafficking rescue program this fall. The following photos depict Safe America rolling out its pilot transportation program with support from Cobb, Clayton, DeKalb, Douglas, Fulton and City of Atlanta leaders.

A group of State Leaders – including Public Service Commission Vice Chairman Tim Echols, Senator Ed Harbison, Senator Kay Kirkpatrick and Representatives Billy Mitchell and Paulette Rakestraw  – joined in endorsing the ‘HUMANS Care’ program which will provide  support veterans, human trafficking victims and opioid addicts.
“We were pleased to see the broad support for our initiative,” noted Safe America President Len Pagano. “Working with a series of metro Atlanta communities, we will work to transport thousands of people who cannot get to doctors or hospitals and also expand community education to deaden crimes like human trafficking.”
Pagano noted that Senator Isakson had his Field Representative join the Capitol news conference, sharing the Senator’s support. And, Safe America Vice Chairman Jeff Turner also announced that the Foundation will be opening a kiosk at ATL Airport in November to help educate 80,000 travelers daily on what to look for in human trafficking – plus helping explain other programs that impact safety coast-to-coast.
Media: for an interview, call Len Pagano at (770)-509-7958 if you’d like to interview me and learn more about our plans for a regional ‘Training Day’ on November 1 and the ‘Fall Forum’ at the federal Reserve Bank on November 2.
